Little Chestnuts Pre-School

Little Chestnuts Pre-School is based in the quaint village of Toppesfield, North Essex. Whilst we are proud to be an evolving pre-school with children now attending from neighbouring villages such as; Great Yeldham, Ridgewell and the Hedinghams, we will always strive to maintain the village charm.
We are a Charity based pre-school managed by a Committee and run by a dedicated team of staff who have a wealth of knowledge and a passion to help your child flourish.
Being a charity run pre-school, parents and families are involved in fundraising events to purchase new equipment, outings and events.
Little Chestnuts Team offers you a warm welcome and looks forward to helping your Little Chestnut to grow.

Andrea
Manager
Level 5 Childcare & Education qualification. Andrea has worked at Little Chestnuts Pre-School for 12 years and has 30+ years experience in childcare, SENCO practioner and designated safeguarding officer.
Andrea has four children of her own and enjoys walking, yoga and eating out
Louise
Deputy Manager
Level 3 Childcare & Education qualification.

Level 3 designated safeguarding officer..
Physical and nutritional coordinator (PANCO)
Louise has been working at Little Chestnuts Pre-School for over 10 years, and has 16+ years experience working in childcare. Louise enjoys walking, running and days out with the family
Neve
Level 3 Practitioner
Level 3 Childcare & Education qualification.
Level 3 pediatric first aid.
Neve runs our afterschool club.
Neve enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Katy
Level 3 apprentice
Katy plans our cooking activities and will be qualified this school year.
Katy is part of our afterschool club team.
Katy enjoys spending time with family and friends and her cats.
Kaaren
Practitioner & Outside Discovery Leader
Level 2 outside discovery school. Kaaren has recently joined Little Chestnuts Pre-School, and will be leading our Outside Learning curriculum. Kaaren has many years experience working with children and ran the local Brownies group for many years.
Kelly
Practitioner & Outside Discovery
Kelly has been working in early years settings for over 30 years, and has recently joined the Little Chestnuts team providing holiday and sick cover, she is now working on a Friday with Kaaren providing outside discovery lessons.
Kelly loves spending time with her family, dancing and karate.
Grace
Level 2 apprentice & Outside Discovery
Grace is completing her level to qualification and works with Kaaren providing outside discovery lessons.
grace plans our messy and tuff tray activities.
Grace enjoys going to concerts and spending time with family.

Lacy
Pre-school Cook
Lacy plans and cooks our healthy lunches and snacks during term time.
She works alongside Louise to provide a healthy diverse menu.
Lacy has 4 children who all attended Little Chestnuts and she enjoys all things crafty and spending time with family and friends.
